Want to join the TMCA?
There are certain eligibility criteria that companies need to meet in order to join the TMCA, for example, member organisations must make a representative available to attend all member committee meetings.

- Full Members
- Associate Members
- Affiliated Companies
NB: New memberships will only be issued in April and October
Annual Fee: £1,500
TMCA Full Members will be organisations that are Specialist Temporary Traffic Management Organisations that fit the below criteria:
New members must complete a full application and provide references that will be contacted by the TMCA. Members are expected to sign up to the TMCA Code of Conduct and adhere to it at all times. Any deviation from the Code of Conduct will result in membership being revoked. There will be no mandatory requirement in the Code of Conduct or any other agreement to engage with organisations that are affiliated with the TMCA, however, it is recommended that members engage with associate members and affiliated companies.
Members are expected to provide a representative that will attend quarterly members' meetings. The TMCA expect this to be a senior person within the member organisation with the ability to make key decisions and represent the views of their own organisation.
The TMCA also expects members to provide further suitable contacts within their organisation who may be best suited to engage with the key focuses and/or benefit from being in receipt of information regarding them.
*£5,000,000pa based on the delivery of TTM directly with an end-user or Tier 1 client and not via providing managed services arrangements or labour provision.
** Employees must be PAYE direct employees of the named organisation and not sub-contract or be through a labour provider.
- NHSS 12 certification
- Turnover of over £5,000,000pa*
- Over 50 direct employees**
- Over 3 years trading

Associate Members are organisations that are a specialist support service to TMCA Full Members. These will be companies that provide a service to TMCA members, that is not completed by, or under the control of a TTM contractor. Organisations that fall under this type of membership could be Linemarkers, Designers, Training Organisations, VRS Organisations etc. These are companies that have specialist knowledge for a service in which the TMCA members require to deliver their services. The criteria for Associate Members are below:
- Provide the service to at least 2 TMCA members
- Turnover of over £1,000,000pa
- Over 2 years trading
New members must complete a full application and provide references who are members of the TMCA. Associate Members are expected to sign up to the TMCA Code of Conduct and adhere to it at all times. Any deviation from the Code of Conduct will result in membership being revoked.
Associate Members are expected to provide a representative that will attend quarterly members' meetings. The TMCA expect this to be a senior person within the member organisation with the ability to make key decisions and represent the views of their own organisation.
The TMCA also expects members to provide further suitable contacts within their organisation who may be best suited to engage with the key focuses and/or benefit from being in receipt of information regarding them.
Annual Fee: £500
Affiliated Companies are organisations that are supply chain partners to TMCA Members. These will be companies that provide a product or resource (not a service) to TMCA members, that is used by members as part of their delivery. Identification for this category of affiliation is if the product or service is under the control of a TTM contractor. These organisations would be part of the TMCA to gain information and industry advice in order to better their service to TMCA members. The criteria for Affiliated Companies are below:

New affiliates must complete a full application and provide a reference of the TMCA member. Affiliates are expected to sign up to the TMCA Code of Conduct and adhere to it at all times. Any deviation from the Code of Conduct will result in affiliation being revoked.
Affiliates are expected to provide a contact who will be in receipt of any TMCA correspondence and communications. The TMCA expect this to be a senior person within the member organisation with the ability to make key decisions and represent the views of their own organisation.
Escalation processes will be in place for queries and points that Affiliated Companies wish to raise as well as complete the same grievance or compliant process that is in place for Full and Associate Members.

- Previously on the TMCA Labour Agency Charter
New affiliates must complete a full application and provide a reference of the TMCA member. Affiliates are expected to sign up to the TMCA Code of Conduct and adhere to it at all times. Any deviation from the Code of Conduct will result in affiliation being revoked.
Affiliates are expected to provide a contact who will be in receipt of any TMCA correspondence and communications. The TMCA expect this to be a senior person within the member organisation with the ability to make key decisions and represent the views of their own organisation.
