Young rider on a pony with rosettes at the Sinai Dressage Series 2026

The Traffic Management Contractors Association (TMCA) has continued its support for youth sport by sponsoring the 2026 Sinai Dressage 12 & Under Junior Championship.

The sponsorship reflects TMCA’s wider commitment to supporting young people, helping them to stay active, build confidence and develop new skills through sport and community involvement.

This year’s championship brought together a strong and competitive field, with riders taking part across a range of classes and categories. The 12 & Under Junior Championship was won by eight-year-old Lottie, riding her pony Gemma.

Supporting Young Riders

Lottie’s success was especially impressive given that she only began dressage in late 2025. Since then, she and Gemma have formed a strong partnership, with the sport quickly becoming an important focus and source of enjoyment.

Her achievement highlights the value of giving young people opportunities to try new activities, set goals and grow in confidence through regular participation.

Celebrating Success Across the Series

The event was organised and run by Helen Dawson and was well supported across junior, senior and veteran classes.

There was further TMCA involvement through TMCA Secretary Belinda Sweet Williams, via Belinda Sweet Williams Training, sponsoring both the Veteran Horse Championship and the Mountain and Moorland Ponies Championship.

Lesley Thomas, riding Milo, achieved victory in the Veteran category, while Emma Jayne Cassidy, riding Hector’s Fury, took the top spot in the Mountain and Moorland category. TMCA member company ERH also supported the event by sponsoring the Team Championship, which was won by The Piaffe Posse.

A Commitment to Community

For TMCA, supporting events such as the Sinai Dressage Series is about more than sponsorship. It is about helping create positive opportunities for people to get involved in sport, encouraging the next generation and supporting the communities connected to TMCA members.

TMCA congratulates Lottie and Gemma on their junior championship victory, along with Lesley and Milo, Emma Jayne and Hector’s Fury, and The Piaffe Posse on their respective successes.
